Our small resort Thürmsdorf lies close to the fortress Königstein. Our holiday room is ideal for calm and recreative days as well as for many trips into our beautiful Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The Bastei, the rock stage in Rathen and the Schrammsteine are worth a trip.
The cultural cities Dresden and Meißen can be approached fast by car and with the rapid-transit railway.

Our hotel is situated directly at the slope of the Elbe; wonderful view over the Elbe valley from the Lilienstein to the fortress Königstein. The reception is open day and night. From 7-10 o'clock breakfast buffett, from 12 o'clock our restaurant is opened with panorama pavilion and during beautiful weather the terrace.
Good connection to public transportation – 600m away you have rapid-transit railway station, ship and ferry pier, station Festungs-express and Bastei-clamber. Haus Felsengrund retreat centre is situated around 35 km (approx. 22 miles) from Dresden in the quaint village of Rathen with a direct view of the Elbe river and the famous Bastei, landmark and one of the most breathtaking rock formations of “Saxon Switzerland”. Whether you are in search of a retreat centre for your church week(end) away, a holiday resort for yourself and/or your family, a place to organize a workshop or training seminar in, a ‘base camp’ for climbing, cycling or hiking tours or even a peaceful constant to city-hop from.
The holiday house lies on a former barnyard in the municipality Lohmen. On our property we still do agriculture to a small extent, while you can enjoy our farm animals. Our property is in the middle of the village at a very calm road.
The holiday house consists of 3 vacation homes for 2-4 persons (additional beds possible). All dwellings are equipped with Sat TV. Towels and bedlinen are inclusive. The renting is possible during the whole year. Moreover we have a terrace with BBQ possibility and parking lots.
