Our newly built holiday house is located close to the Malerweg hiking trail, above the romantic valley Kirnitzschtal. The house has 125 square meters of living space, with two floors and 4 bedrooms for 7 persons in total. Outside you can relax on the lawn and the terrace at the house. Moreover we have a garage and additional parking spaces. The location at the edge of the forest guarantees a quiet and relaxing stay. Well-known destinations for hikings and excursions, such as the historical Kirnitzschtalbahn railway running to the Lichtenhainer waterfall and the spa town Bad Schandau, or the Schrammsteine rock formation and the mountain Großer Winterberg can all be easily reached by foot.

Our cozy holiday home is located in a quiet but central location between the towns Bad Schandau and Sebnitz, on the ridge between the valleys of the rivers Kirnitzsch and Sebnitz. The location offers opportunities for beautiful long hikes, which start nearby our accomodation. In close proximity is the Panoramaweg trail, running from Bad Schandau through the villages Mittelndorf, Lichtenhain and Saupsdorf, where is also a very popular part of the Malerweg trail. We do rent in the months from April to October. We are looking forward to your visit!

Elle constitue un point de départ idéal pour des randonnées et excursions dans l'Elbsandsteingebirge, grâce à sa situation au calme à proximité directe des rochers d'escalade de l'Ottomühle. Vous passez un séjour dans l'un de ces nouveaux logements de vacances équipés de manière moderne et confortable qui exaucent tous vos souhaits. A l'intérieur, une salle commune conviviale et une salle de jeux pour petits et grands vous invitent à vous y attarder. Un grand jardin de 1 000 m avec possibilités de jeux et zones de repos sont à votre disposition pour un séjour en famille parfait. Un petit cours d'eau avec le sentier pieds nus dans la nature et la possibilité de fouille pour petits chercheurs d'or se situent à côté de la pelouse de jeux et de repos. Ou vous pouvez utiliser le sauna de la maison afin de vous détendre. Un petit répertoire physiothérapeutique vous est offert pour un repos total pendant vos vacances. C'est justement la diversité du paysage qui fait que les randonnées en famille ne sont jamais ennuyeuses. Les sentiers de randonnées sont définis de facile et plat à dur et sont un peu bizarrement très étendus. Our 2 stars vacation home is directly at the Elbradweg bike route in Prossen, a very idyllic location in the heart of Saxon Switzerland. It is a central starting point for trips and hikes into the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Enjoy the undisturbed panorama view on the Elbe river directly from the house.

Almost 150 years ago, the "Lichtenhainer Wasserfall" was already one of the earliest famous features of the Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland) and was the setting-off point for the first hikers who wandered on the "tourist paths" through this unique, beautiful region. The guesthouse, built in Swiss style in 1852, was, until the beginning of the 20th century, annexed to a chair-lift, pack-animal and guide´s station, so tha, to avoid the "terrible strain" of an ascent to the cow-shed, you could let yourself be carried up in the chair-lift by 2 carriers.
